Zonbu For The Environmentally-Responsible

It’s the first zero-emission computer – small and compact, capable of playing your multimedia files, and only $99.  The “catch” is external data storage (rather than a sizeable hard drive) … will the affordability and environmental benefits offer enough counter-balance that this will catch on?  Check it out: www.zonbu.com

Unypeís Virtual Earth

Unype has mashed up Google Earth with Skype for socially interactive map exploration – of the real Earth.  Basically, you can use your existing Skype account (or create a new one) for an avatar-based multi-user Google Earth experience.  Also available as a Facebook application, it allows you to interact with other Facebook users that are using the tool at the same time as you.  Download it here: www.unype.com
